Topic: No sorting of entries

Howdy,
looks like I found a new little glitch in 4.8.1.
If I have numerous entries in a category, I have the sort and filter options on top of the page entries. But these don't work. If I try sorting, I always get back the primary entry: Date Z-A. The filter mechanism doesn't work too.
The very, very strange thing is: once (verbally) sorting Title A-Z worked.
This behaviour is language independent.

Any ideas?

Does it happen in IE and Firefox or just IE?

It happens in Safari, Firefox 2 and 3, Opera for Mac and in FF and Opera for Windows. I will test IE

Just checked my SVN copy from 5 Mar and it works fine in IE7 and in FireFox 3.0.7

baerdel, sounds like your JavaScript is not fully loaded.  Could be missing files.  Do you see any JavaScript errors?

Bingo, I found the culprit. It's cache. Cache on: no sorting etc. Cache off: Sorting and filtering works again. Cache on: Wrongo again.

So I turned cache off (but don't like it too much, because sometimes I have  some load).
