When I click on most of the menu items in the admin menu, it doesn't actually take me anywhere, and in the address bar it displays "http://www.sitename.net/administrator/#".  OR  http://www.sitename.net/index2.php?option=com_menus&menutype=othermenu#" - but nothing happens.   I assume the # means that nothing is being selected.

Another issue is that when attempting to delete or modify content, for example if I have a look at all menu items, I find the one I want to delete, click in the check box to delete it and get a message something along the lines of "Please select an item from the list to delete".  I DO select an item, however the message persists.

Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.
